10 pm/ET ABC Special Bob Woodruff, a Mandarin speaker since his days in Beijing teaching law and covering the 1989 student uprising, dusts it off for tonight's report on China. Surprisingly, he does so not in Beijing, but in Angola. Woodruff's focus is on how China's meteoric economic rise affects the rest of the world, and one place where the Chinese are cementing ties is that oil-rich African country. Woodruff also visits Brazil and Cambodia, and explores China's "partnership" (as China's UN ambassador diplomatically puts it) with the U.S. And he interviews some 20 talking heads, one of whom, pundit Fareed Zakaria, sums things up: "We can either ride this wave, or we can drown in it." —
