8 pm/ET CBS New The sixteenth edition returns to Palau, where 10 ultrafans of the show compete against 10 former players, including the game's most notorious castaway, Jonny Fairplay. The fans and favorites are divided into two separate tribes. Upon arriving, the fans have no idea they will be playing against former contestants, many of whom they adore, and they're initially enthralled by them. But their "idolatry turns into animosity," says host Jeff Probst, at the first challenge. Another twist is the return of Exile Island. But this season a person from each tribe, a fan and a favorite, must go together. And what's on Exile Island? The hidden immunity idol, of course. —
