8 pm/ET FOX New Glenn Close gives voice to Homer's mother, crotchety old hippie Mona Simpson, who comes to visit after years with no contact. She wants to mend fences with her son, but he's reluctant to trust her because she abandoned him so often as a child to champion her hippie causes. Mona dies before Homer can forgive her, but he is able to fulfill her last wish and strike one final blow for the planet in her memory. —
