A young man (Shia LaBeouf) and his single mother (Michelle Monaghan) are framed as terrorists and forced into a terrorist cell's plan to assassinate a politician. The duo tries to extricate themselves, while government officials (Billy Bob Thorton and Rosario Dawson) work to track the terrorist cell down.
