Jodie Foster stars as Alexander Rover, a popular children.s adventure book author-and reclusive germaphobe. Rover is forced to confront her fears and journey to a distant, wild island when her biggest fan - Abigail Breslin - writes asking for help as her father has gone missing and her home is threatened by pirates. Together the duo must take cues from Rover.s illustrious characters and battle for the island. The action adventure also stars Gerald Butler. It hits theatres April 4, 2008.
