Pot-head Dale Denton (Seth Rogen) and his dealer Saul (James Franco) are forced to go on the run from a drug gang after witnessing a murder in which a corrupt cop (Rosie Perez) and the gang.s leader (Gary Cole), and accidentally leaves behind some of Saul's signature "Pineapple Express" marijuana.
