The Visitor

Walter Vale, a glum, soon-to-be retired college professor has his life turned upside down when work travels take him to Manhattan, where he finds a young couple living in his apartment. Vale welcomes the down-on-their luck duo.Tarek a Syrian man and his Senegalese girlfriend.into his home, and in exchange the pair teach him about traditional African drums, filling their shared space with music and much more. As the unlikely trio.s friendship deepens, the group is forced to grapple with issues of culture, politics, and ultimately love. This dramatic comedy stars Richard Jenkins, Haaz Sleiman, Danai Gurira, and Hiam Abbass. The Visitor opens nationwide April 11, 2008.
